There’s a variety of bird control techniques that are available to property owners. But each product is targeted and most effective toward a specific bird type. So, with bird control service, it is not a one size fits all – You need the right technique made for your bird problem.

First, you’ll want to identify which nuisance bird is on your property using our Bird Diagnostic Center. Monitor the bird activity and compare their characteristics & features with the information listed.

Here are some guidelines to follow to help you determine which bird control service is best for you.

Bird Spikes – Recommended birds larger than 11 inches. Generally used for loafing birds. The spikes are strategically placed on flat surfaces where birds will land. Ledges & rooflines are common areas for spikes. Not effective on smaller birds since they can build nests in the spikes.

Electric Track – Effective towards most nuisance birds. Mildly shocks birds that land on track to keep them away. Can be use for loafing or nesting birds. Less visible than spikes & uses A.C. or solar power.

Bird Netting – Can cover large area to keep all types of birds out. Prevents birds from nesting or loafing in the areas covered. Can be applied on courtyards, canopies, rooftops, signs, warehouses, etc. Low visibility, uniform appearance.

Bird Wire – Recommended for birds larger than 12 inches. Effective for loafing birds. Thin wire is attached to posts by springs. Birds will land on wire causing them to bounce. The unstable landing spot makes it impossible for them to perch. Used on ledges, rooflines, handrails, signs, and more.

Bird Spiders – Recommended for large loafing or nesting birds. They are posts with swaying wired arms that act as a visual threat to nuisance birds. Installed on boats, docks, lightposts, A/C units, signs & rooftops. Low visibility.

Bird Slope – Effective towards all loafing or nesting birds. Used only on ledges that meets 90 degree angle. The slope is a slippery surface that makes it impossible for birds to land.
Bird Gel – Most effective towards birds smaller than 8 inches. Sticky substance is applied to horizontal surfaces. The sticky surface is uncomfortable for birds causing them to leave. Lasts up to 6 months & is for indoor & outdoor use. Gel is virtually invisible and used on ledges, conduits, signs, and pipes.
